1. The agreement
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Baltimore Bros LLC (“Frelantra”, “we”, “us”), the company that operates the Frelantra service at frelantra.com. They apply whenever you create an account, use the service, or pay us for it.
You accept these Terms when you tick the acceptance box on the signup form. We record the moment you accepted and the version of these Terms you accepted, so that we can tell later which text you agreed to. The version you are reading now is 2026-09-19.
Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with personal information and forms part of this agreement.
2. What Frelantra is
Frelantra is a workspace for solo and small service businesses — photographers, videographers, DJs, bakers, planners, stylists, florists, designers, caterers, coaches, officiants and similar trades. In it you can:
- keep a record of your clients and the projects you are running for them;
- draft contracts in a rich-text editor, starting from templates selected for your type of business;
- place signature, initial and date fields on the document and send it to your client for electronic signature;
- sign your own portion of the document, in the app, by drawing a signature;
- share a private link that lets your client view their projects and contracts, sign, or ask you for changes; and
- track projects and tasks on a board, and download executed documents.
We may add, change or remove features. If a change materially reduces what the service does, we will tell account owners by email or in the app.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use Frelantra. The service is built for business use, not for personal or household use.
If you accept these Terms on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm you are authorised to bind it, and “you” in these Terms means that organization.
You may not use Frelantra if we have previously terminated your account, or if applicable export or sanctions law prohibits us from providing it to you.
4. Accounts and organizations
Creating an account creates an organization — the workspace that owns your clients, projects, contracts and documents. You are its owner.
You are responsible for your login credentials and for everything done through your account. Keep your password confidential and tell us promptly at admin@frelantra.com if you believe it has been compromised. We sign you out after a period of inactivity, but that is a safety net, not a substitute for protecting your credentials.
You must give us an email address you control and keep it accurate. We verify it before your account becomes usable, and we use it for billing notices and other messages about the service.
5. Trial, subscription and billing
Free trial. New organizations may start a 30-day free trial of the Studio plan. The trial is once per organization: if an organization has already had a trial, or has ever had a paid subscription, it is not eligible for another. When the trial ends without a subscription, the workspace locks — you keep your data and can restore access by subscribing, but you cannot continue working in it until you do.
Payment. Subscriptions are billed through our third-party payment processor, in advance, on a monthly or annual cycle, at the price shown at checkout. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes we are required to collect. Your card details are entered on the processor’s own hosted pages and are handled entirely by it — we never receive or store your card number.
Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from the billing page in your dashboard, which opens the processor’s billing portal. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; you keep access until then. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments already made are non-refundable and we do not pro-rate partial periods.
Failed payments. If a payment fails we will email you and may retry. If it remains unpaid, we may suspend access to the workspace until it is settled.
Price changes. We may change prices. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before a change affects your renewal, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
6. Frelantra is not a law firm
Frelantra is software. We are not a law firm, we are not your lawyer, and nothing in the product or in these Terms is legal advice.
The contract templates we provide — including the templates selected for your type of business, their clauses, and the suggested values we substitute into them — are drafting conveniences, not legal work product. They have not been prepared for your situation, your jurisdiction, or the specific engagement you are documenting. They may be incomplete, unenforceable, or simply wrong for your circumstances.
You are solely responsible for the contents of every contract you send, for whether it is legally sufficient, and for whether it complies with the law where you and your client are. If the stakes warrant it, have a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction review your contracts before you use them.
Using Frelantra does not create a lawyer–client relationship, and no communication with us is privileged.
7. Electronic signatures
Frelantra lets you and your client sign documents electronically. When a party signs, we record the signature image, the time, the version of the document that was signed, and details of the signing session, and we keep a copy of the executed document.
Electronic signatures are recognised in many jurisdictions — including under the US ESIGN Act and UETA, and the EU eIDAS Regulation — but the rules differ, some categories of document are excluded, and requirements vary by country and by document type. We do not warrant that any particular signed document is valid, binding, admissible, or enforceable. That depends on the document, the parties, and the law that applies to them, and it is your responsibility to determine.
By signing in Frelantra, each party consents to sign electronically and agrees that the electronic signature has the same effect as a handwritten one, to the extent the law allows. A party who does not wish to sign electronically should not use the signing flow.
Sending a contract to a client means you have the right to send it to them and to use the email address you provided for that purpose.
8. Your content
Everything you put into Frelantra — your contracts, project records, client details, notes and documents — is yours. We claim no ownership of it.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, transmit, render, display and back up that content, solely so that we can operate the service for you: rendering your contract to a PDF, transmitting it for signature, emailing your client a link, and so on. That licence exists only to run the service, ends when the content is deleted, and does not permit us to use your content to market to your clients or to train third-party models on it.
You are responsible for having the right to upload the content you upload and to send the communications you send, including the right to give us your clients’ personal information for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy. As between you and us, you are the controller of your clients’ personal information and we process it on your behalf.
You can export your executed documents at any time while your account is active.
9. Acceptable use
You must not use Frelantra to:
- break the law, or help anyone else break it, including fraud, forgery, or the impersonation of another person or business;
- send documents for signature to people who have not agreed to receive them from you, or send unsolicited bulk email through the service;
- forge, backdate, or alter a signed document, or present a document as executed when it was not;
- upload malware, or content that infringes someone else’s intellectual property or privacy rights;
- probe, scan, or attempt to breach the service’s security or access data belonging to another organization;
- scrape the service, use it through automated means beyond normal product use, or place unreasonable load on it; or
- resell, sublicense, or white-label the service without our written agreement.
Client-portal links are bearer credentials: anyone holding the link can see what it grants access to. Share them only with the client they are for, and revoke a link if it has been shared more widely than intended.
10. Third-party services
Frelantra depends on third-party providers — including our hosting, database, payment and email providers — to work. They are listed in the Privacy Policy. We choose them carefully, but we do not control them, and an outage or failure at one of them can interrupt the service.
Payments are governed by our payment processor’s own terms in addition to these, and your use of its billing portal is subject to them. The processor is identified on its own checkout and billing pages, and we will name it on request.
11. Availability
We work to keep Frelantra available and to protect your data, but we do not promise a particular uptime level and we do not offer a service-level agreement. We may take the service down for maintenance, and we will try to do so at low-traffic times and to give notice where a planned interruption is significant.
Features marked as beta, preview or experimental are provided as-is and may change or be withdrawn without notice.
Keep your own copies of documents that matter to you. Downloading executed contracts as they are signed is the simplest way to do that.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Frelantra at any time, cancel your subscription from the billing page, and ask us to delete your account by writing to admin@frelantra.com.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, that is being used unlawfully, or whose payments remain unpaid. Where circumstances allow, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right; where the breach is serious or ongoing harm is likely, we may act immediately.
After termination we will delete or de-identify your content in the ordinary course, subject to the retention periods described in the Privacy Policy and to any records we are legally required to keep. Export anything you need before you close your account.
Sections 6 (not a law firm), 8 (your content, as to ownership), 13, 14, 15 and 16 survive termination.
13. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Frelantra is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
In particular, and without limiting the above, we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any document produced with it is legally sufficient or enforceable, or that any electronic signature will be accepted by a court, a counterparty, or a regulator.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. Where that is the case, the exclusions above apply only to the extent permitted, and nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot lawfully be limited.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost business, or loss of goodwill, even if advised of the possibility.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) one hundred US dollars (US$100).
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law — including, where applicable, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
You acknowledge that these limits are a fundamental basis of the bargain and that the pricing of the service reflects them.
15. Indemnification
You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims, and against the resulting losses, damages and reasonable legal costs, arising out of your content, your contracts, your use of the service in breach of these Terms, or your breach of the law — including a claim brought by one of your clients about a document you sent them. We will notify you promptly of any such claim and give you reasonable cooperation in its defence.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the state and federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any competent court to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.
If you are a consumer resident in a jurisdiction whose law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts or under your local law, this section does not take that right away.
Before starting formal proceedings, please write to admin@frelantra.com and give us 30 days to resolve the matter with you.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When we do, we publish a new version on this page with a new version string and effective date. For material changes we will give account owners reasonable advance notice by email or in the app before the new version takes effect.
Continuing to use Frelantra after a new version takes effect means you accept it. If you do not accept it, stop using the service and cancel your subscription before the effective date.
Because we record which version each person accepted, an older version may still be the one that governs an existing account until the notice period for a change has run.
18. General
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us about the service. If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force and the unenforceable part is applied to the greatest extent permitted.
Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, on notice to you.
Neither party is liable for a failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
